Water conservation:
You have heard this a million times, and still, bad habits are really hard to break. Please shut off that tap when brushing your teeth. Keep your showers to a 5 min maximum. Really, its ok not to shower longer than that on weekdays. Maybe weekends, you treat yourself with a couple of minutes extra. When you shower, think about the millions people in the world that do not have water to even drink.! That really helps to cut short your shower time.

Turn off the tap
You have probably heard this all the time, but, somehow, a lot of us tend to forget this very simple way to conserve a lot water.
Turn off that water tap while you brush, shave, do dishes etc.
tip: till you get into the habit, put a small sticky note on the mirror to remind you to turn off the water. It may look weird or even ugly to see a sticky note on the vanity mirror, but thats the point, its that effective!

Switch to drip irrigation
Don't use the toilet as an ashtray or flush down waste. Minimize the flushing.
Don't keep running the water tap till the water turns warm or hot. Just keep a bowl to hold the cooler water to use for something else.
