Buy earth friendly fertilizers, stick to natural compost, or make your own compost from kitchen waste. If you need fertilizers, buy concentrated fertilizers, so you can add water and use less plastic containers to bring them.
Pest Control - Make sure you use earth-friendly pest control products. Sometimes, just a strong blast of water from the hose will take care of insects. Go with the most conservative approach to a more stronger and harsh approach to manage pests. Plant organic produce as much as possible and try to find the varieties that are least susceptible to insects. Native plants always thrive better.
